‘Can the EU learn from experience?’
A conference organised by the European Parliament Former Members Association, Erasmus+/Indire and the Historical Archives of the EU examined the relationship between young people and European institutions.

This conference, organised by the European Parliament Former Members Association, Erasmus+/Indire and the Historical Archives of the European Union, examined three concrete programmes developed to increase the understanding and participation of young people in Europe.
In three separate panels, contributors described collaborative initiatives across the institutions, and experiences teaching and learning about Europe at the primary, secondary, and university levels and beyond.
The conference was opened by the Brass Ensemble from the Conservatorio Cherubini Firenze.
Following this conference, an FMA Publication ‘Participation in Europe’, based on contributions of speakers and guest during this high-level conference will be published late 2023. On Thursday 7 December 2023 the book will be presented in the European Parliament in Brussels.
