Online debate – Our European Union: Time to be bold, to act and to deliver
We invite you to participate in the online meeting-debate on the Conference on the Future of Europe organized within the framework of the French Presidency of the European Union by the Former Members Association (FMA) in partnership with EPLO Paris and the Jean Monnet House Service of the European Parliament.
The debate, which will take place on 1 March from 14.30 to 16.00 (CET), will focus on the proposals for change related to the functioning of the EU: transnational lists, Council work and more transparent decisions, etc. The text of proposals on the future of Europe, drawn up by our Association, will serve as a basis for the discussions. Former President of the European Parliament and President of the FMA, Dr. Hans-Gert Pöttering will chair the meeting. The meeting will be broadcast live on our association’s Facebook page in English and French as well as on the YouTube page of the EPLO in Paris.
