Pécs University in Hungary invited former MEP Malcolm Harbour on September 27, 2021, from 14.00 to 15.00 to participate in an online lecture about Consumer protection in the EU.
The guest lecture was the integral part of a course “The European Parliament and its Political Groups” taught both in English and Hungarian and designed to introduce students to the historical evolution, structure, competences and place of the European Parliament in the institutional system of the European Union. Besides the theory, the instructions intended to cover practical implications related to specific policies of the EU through the lenses of the EP political groups. The policy targeted for this particular guest lecture was consumer protection.
