Webinar- Ukraine – Ukrainian Association of Professors and Researchers of European Integration (APREI) – Maartje J.A. van Putten

We are excited to announce our upcoming online event in collaboration with the Ukrainian Association of Professors and Researchers of European Integration (APREI) and Mariupol State University: “How to be ‘a real European’ and defend the voice of people in international public institutions.” This round table discussion will take place on 15 October 2024 at 2PM local time in Ukraine (1PM Brussels time).

This roundtable discussion will explore what it means to embrace European values in a modern, interconnected world and how to effectively advocate for citizens’ rights within international public institutions. Participants will engage in discussion on democratic principles, representation, and the role of EU in shaping global governance. Through the expert insights, attendees will learn strategies for defending the public interest and strengthening the voice of the people in the international arena.

It will be conducted in English by former MEP and FMA member Maartje J.A. van PUTTEN.
