L'université De Montfort de Leicester, au Royaume-Uni, a organisé une conférence avec une classe de lycée sur "l'intégration européenne", un déjeuner et des événements pour le réseautage, des cours avec des étudiants en droit, en politique et en économie et une soirée "débat sur les questions européennes" à laquelle ont participé des membres du public, des membres du personnel de l'université et des étudiants. Les thèmes abordés étaient le commerce, les droits de l'homme, la politique étrangère, l'union monétaire et l'austérité. Les participants étaient des lycéens, des étudiants en licence et en master, mais aussi des doctorants, des universitaires et des journalistes.
